Swiss International signs agreement for 3rd hotel in Nigeria

Swiss International Hotels & Resorts has signed a license agreement for Swiss International the Vistana in Lekki, Lagos, Nigeria. The hotel is located in the commercial area of Victoria Garden City Lekki, a highbrow area located along the Lekki-Epe Expressway.

The hotel is shielded from the hustle and bustle of the Lagos metropolis, bordered by the Atlantic Ocean to the south, Lekki Lagoon to the west, Lagos Lagoon to the north and Ikoyi and Victoria Island District to the east.

Swiss International the Vistana has 50 air-conditioned rooms and suites with free high-speed Wi-Fi. Guests are invited to dine and unwind at the Swiss Flavors – restaurant & Lounge and Lounge or sip their favorite cocktails at the TED & Co, Bar & Lounge. For the business travelers, the hotel has several Eventives venues for Meetings & Events and a Business Center.

Swiss International the Vistana is a four-minute drive from the Lekki Conservation Center, which has been considered the best tourist destination in Lekki, Lagos. Commenting on the signing of the contract, Henri W.R Kennedie, CEO, Swiss International Hotels & Resorts, expressed with enthusiasm that, “Lekki is a growing city and we found an opportunity to be present during the growth. We are pleased to be one of the first hotel brands to be present in Lekki.”

The Group owners of The Vistana Hotels Ltd, further added: “We are excited to start our relationship with Swiss International Hotels & Resorts. The brand positioning will allow us to introduce Swiss levels of quality to our local guests. We are also looking forward to accommodating International guests.”

After the Swiss International Mabisel and Swiss Spirit Danag, both in Port Harcourt, River State, the Swiss International the Vistana is the third hotel of the chain in Nigeria. Swiss International is expected to grow the portfolio to 50 hotels in the next two years, while committed to upholding the Swiss levels of quality.
