Johnie Walker, a global Scotch whisky brand has collaborated with American fantasy drama television series HBO’s Game of Thrones (GoT) to launch the new White Walker by Johnnie Walker, in Lagos, Nigeria.
At a winter themed event in Victoria Island, Lagos, fans of the hit show, celebrities, and media influencers were treated to an immersive experience with a live orchestral performance of the GOT Theme song as arranged by Johnnie Walker. The guests also learned the best way to enjoy the innovative whisky directly from the freezer, echoing the chilling presence of the White Walkers.
“At the heart of this innovative new blend are single malts from Cardhu and Clynelish, one of Scotland’s most northern distilleries where whiskies have endured long Scottish winters, not dissimilar to the climate north of the wall,” Adenike Adebola, managing director of Guinness Nigeria Plc said during the event. “White Walker by Johnnie Walker is best served cold directly from the freezer and features an unexpected icy reveal on the bottle when chilled. So enjoy Season 8 of Game of Thrones with some White Walker cocktails.”
