For artists it’s extremely difficult to make a living out of streaming, especially artists signed under record labels and to most artists, touring is very important to them.

The culture around music touring for Afrobeats artists before the pandemic was mainly for local audiences and at a particular time of the year. Covid however , creating a larger listener base globally for these artists has opened opportunities to the culture of touring around the world in different locations anytime of the year hence more revenue for the artist and the team.
