Entrepreneurs across the African continent have been urged to leverage global opportunities to grow their businesses and access finance.
Temitope Olukunle, founder of Outnovately Africa called on entrepreneurs to not only focus at exploring opportunities at their immediate environment but the global landscape.
She said the world of work is now borderless and it takes boldness and right positioning by anyone to embrace these huge opportunity.
Olukunle who is also the convener of the Borderless Summit held in Lagos recently, mentioned that the idea of the event was to equip participants with the tools and mindset, needed to unlock their full potential, transcending borders for personal and professional success.
“With the emergence of AI and automation making an entrance into how we live and work, participants learned the significance of personal reinvention, positioning, and leveraging digital tools to expand their global reach and monetize their expertise,” she said.
Explaining further, she revealed that the summit featured three impactful sessions delivered by highly resourceful persons.
According to the convener, she said attendees also delved into critical areas such as executive presence, gravitas, and solid communication skills, recognizing their indispensable role in career and business growth respectively.
During the ‘Going Global with Your Skills’ session by Olukunle inspired a shift in entrepreneurs mindset towards embracing new opportunities and the challenges it entails.
The convener who unveiled her book titled “Borderless” during the summit said the book is all about building a successful global career in a rapidly changing world and can be accessed on Amazon.

Speaking also, Ayanfeoluwa Wole-Ojo, a communication expert, who shared valuable insights on ‘Building Effective Communication Skills in a Globalized World’, talked about fostering cross-cultural understanding and leveraging digital communication platforms to bridge geographical divides.
Also, Eizu Uwaoma, a disruptive leadership expert presented a thought-provoking session on “Thriving in a Rapidly Changing World with Disruptive Leadership.
