Zambia’s President Edgar Lungu has been sworn in after winning the 11 August presidential election.

He released a message on Twitter just before the ceremony at a packed stadium in the capital, Lusaka.

“This is the day that the LORD has made, we will rejoice and be glad in it” Psalms 118:14, the message which was conveyed on Twitter read.
