Kyle Walker has expressed his excitement at joining AC Milan, stating that winning the Champions League with the Rossoneri would be a “dream come true.”

The England international joined Milan on loan from Manchester City on Friday and made his first appearance at the San Siro over the weekend, watching the team’s 3-2 victory over Parma.

Speaking to the press on Monday, Walker explained his decision to join Milan, highlighting the club’s ambition and the opportunity to play alongside experienced players.

“Obviously, I spoke with Zlatan [Ibrahimovic], Walker explained a lot of things to me. He told me about the great things we’re trying to achieve here,” Walker shared.

“We talked about the Super Cup, which was a good start. It’s not perfect in terms of the league, but there’s still a chance in the Champions League. I hope to contribute with my experience and leadership to help Milan return to where it wants to be.

“Winning the Champions League would be a dream come true: I have experienced it in a great final with City,” he added.

When asked about the possibility of a Champions League bonus clause in his contract, Walker gave a coy response: “It doesn’t make a difference, the real bonus is winning the Champions League. I play football because of the passion, and I want to win here with Milan.”

On Serie A and Italian football, Walker said: “There are great teams like Milan, Juve, Inter, teams who want to do well. My time in the Premier League has been positive, and now I get to come to a great team here. I’ve already spoken to a few players, and it’s nice for me to be here in Serie A.”
