Revenue accruing to the federal government  fell 21.5 percent to N315.04 billion ($2 billion) in March due to trunk and pipeline shutdowns and lower earnings from the non-oil sector, Jonah Otunla, the accountant general has said.

Nigeria distributed a total N435.06 billion to local, state and federal government for the month of March compared with N522.05 billion shared in February.
