Jonathan accredited in Otuoke

President Goodluck Jonathan has been accredited to vote in today’s election. His accreditation took less than a minute.

His wife, Patience Jonathan, and mother, Eunice Jonathan, were conspicuously absent.

Speaking to newsmen immediately after his accreditation, he expressed hope of PDP victory nationwide.

On the low turnout at Otuoke, he attributed it to the fact that Bayelsa State is not voting for a governor.

Responding to a question about the card reader, he said INEC has probably rectified the fault.

However, there is alleged crisis at Oruma in Ogbia LGA over hijack of election materials by suspected political thugs.

A source said the people therefore in anger said the election should no longer hold there.
