The newly inaugurated president of Ikeja Exclusive Lions Club, Irene Chukwudumebi Ikpeazu has pledged to deepen the humanitarian activities of the group particularly the poor and less privileged in the society.
Ikpeazu who was inaugurated the 4th President of the club along with other members of her executive for 202/2022 year said the focus of her tenure will be to embark on community based projects that will touch lives and give people hope.
Aligning her vision with this year’s International Theme of the Lions Club: ‘Service from the Heart’, she said hers is a call to serve with passion by giving Time, Talent and Treasures.

Ikpeazu said her planned project would require about N12.5 million, saying while, “this amount might look frightening and unachievable due to the current economic reality, “I know that together we can make it work.”
“If each person plays a part by making a donation or picking up a project , our goals would have been achieved and we would have touched lives, and our community would be better off, Ikpeazu said
“Therefore, as you contemplate on what ways to assist us, remember that there is nothing like the feeling of lending a helping hand, putting smiles on the faces of the needy and how much difference you can make to brighten the life of someone in need, she said.
The investiture was attended by dignitaries who made laudable donations towards realization of the project goals, with Lynda Chuba Ikpeazu, member representing Ontisha North and South at the Federal House of Representative as chairman of the occasion.
