The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) is set to officially announce Babajide Sanwo-Olu of the All Progressives Congress (APC) winner of Saturday, March 9, governorship election in Lagos.
Sanwo-Olu, from the results across the 20 local government areas of the state, is wining the election by landslide, ahead of his major challenger, Jimi Agbaje of the opposition People’s Democratic Party (PDP).
Total results showed that Sanwo-Olu polled 739,141 votes as against Agbaje, who polled 206,141 votes.
With the outcome of the poll, Sanwo-Olu of the APC will any moment from now be declared officially by INEC as the winner of the election.
