Delta State Governor and PDP gubernatorial candidate, Senator Dr Ifeanyi Okowa has won 12 out of the 13 local government results announced so far by the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC.
Okowa’s closest rival, Chief Great Ogboru of the APC has won only one council area,
The Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC has commenced the collation of Delta State Governorship Election Results at the collation centre, Asaba , the State capital.
INEC’s REC, Dr Omorogbe just announced a short break at about 2:10pm after collating thirteen local government councils.
The INEC REC said it will resume collation again by 3:30pm.
So far, 12 local government councils mainly in Delta Central senatorial district and parts of Delta South senatorial district are yet to be declared.
