The Deputy Governor of Kaduna State, Barnabas Bala Bantex has cautioned that politics of Isolation mostly known with the people of Southern Kaduna could continue to hinder development in the region.
He encouraged that people should shun politics of isolation, saying that separating religion from politics will go a long way to help improving the living standard of people irrespective of their ethnicity and religion background.
Bantex, at a town hall meeting organized by Pastors United Change Association in Kaduna yesterday, said people should always strive to access their political leaders beyond their ethnicity and religion diverse.
He added: “politics of isolation will never take us any where. Politics of integration is better for us. The falen of politics of Isolation is affecting us.
“We must learn to separate religion from politics. We must always look for a God fearing person amongst the Christians and Muslims to lead us”.
Speaking on the infrastructural revolution in the state, he says: “as a result of development, any structure may be pull down, and not because the government intended to witch-hunt anybody, or any religion.
“El-rufai is a man who believes in the rule of law. By the number of demolition of structures in the state, Northern part of the state is more affected than the people from Southern part of the state.
“The rationale behind the demolition is to ensure that Kaduna is not left behind undeveloped. Taken such decision is tough but, we must move ahead by ensuring that Kaduna is great. El-rufai is looking forward to a modern Kaduna State.
While speaking, he noted that the governor will never instigate any group or individual against another in the state as is being perceived in some quoters. ” El-rufai is only in hurry to develop the state”, he said.
