The Federal Government and Italian Oil giant, Agip have reached an agreement to build a brand new $15billion refinery in Rivers, in the South South part of Nigeria.

The refinery will have a refining capacity of 150,000 barrels and will be located either in Port harcourt or Brass.

This was disclosed by the Minister of State for Petroleum, Ibe Kachikwu after a stake holders meeting with Acting President Yemi Osinbajo, at the Presidential Villa.
