When people ask for advice I give them, that is my job”.
On whether he is scared of the crisis rocking PDP, he replied “Scared how? PDP forever will be because if they follow the philosophy that established PDP, what do you say, power to the people, will it change? If democracy is about the people, however you look at it. so it can still change, it is the approach.”
On his perception to emergence of a mega party, Tukur said “It is democracy, people can say what they like but what they get is different.”
Sheriff, who likewise described Tukur as his father, said the purpose of his meeting was not for media consumption.
The leadership crisis rocking the party, started at the aborted May 21 national convention, with Sheriff and Ahmed Makarfi claiming to be the party’s authentic leader.
