CR7 pockets €1.1m for 15 seconds advert

Not content with being one of the highest-paid footballers in the world, Cristiano Ronaldo has also been looking to top-up his income in the world of advertising.

The Football Leaks website has revealed that the Real Madrid star earned a frankly eye-watering €1.1 million in an advertising deal with Mobily, a Saudi Arabian telecoms company.

Of course the Portuguese did have to work hard for his cash with a photoshoot, a meet-and-great with fans, sign five shirts, and write two – yes, two! – social media posts.
