…Condemns fresh terror attacks in Kaduna state

​President Bola Tinubu has described the recent attacks on innocent citizens in Naridon Village, Kamaru Ward, Kauru Local Government Area, Kaduna State, as barbaric and acts of cowardice, while ordering security forces to restore peace immediately.

​The President vowed that those responsible for the violence will not go unpunished, according to Bayo Onanuga, Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy. Speaking on Tuesday, Onanuga stated that the President has directed the military to assume security control of the area to restore normalcy and rescue abducted residents.

​BusinessDay gathered that the assault occurred in the early hours of Monday, resulting in the deaths of at least 30 residents, including women and children, alongside widespread destruction of property. President Tinubu termed the incident an unprovoked act of terror against defenceless people.

​Extending his condolences to bereaved families and Kaduna State Governor Uba Sani, the President reaffirmed federal backing for the state. He noted that his administration remains resolute in strengthening security infrastructure, equipping response personnel, and neutralizing criminal networks.
