Arsenal partnership to showcase Saint Lucia globally

The partnership, which begins with the 2026/27 season, is designed to increase Saint Lucia’s visibility in key international markets, particularly the United Kingdom, one of the island’s most important tourism sources.

Through the agreement, Saint Lucia will be promoted to Arsenal’s vast global audience, providing exposure to millions of supporters across Europe, Africa, North America and the Caribbean diaspora.

Chief Executive Officer of the Saint Lucia Tourism Authority (SLTA), Louis Lewis, said the collaboration extends beyond conventional destination marketing and positions the island to benefit from the reach of one of football’s most recognisable brands.

According to Lewis, the partnership is expected to create opportunities in sports tourism, youth development, women’s football, investment promotion, international marketing and capacity building.

Global exposure through Arsenal platforms

Saint Lucia branding will be integrated across Arsenal’s digital ecosystem, including the club’s website, mobile application, social media channels and partner networks.

The agreement will run from the start of the 2026/27 Premier League season through 2031, providing year-round international exposure.

Tourism officials said the partnership will also feature targeted digital marketing campaigns, halftime activations at Emirates Stadium and promotional opportunities across Arsenal’s premium media platforms.

As part of the arrangement, Arsenal players will create destination-focused content showcasing Saint Lucia to millions of football fans worldwide.

The island will also have the opportunity to host international fan engagement events and stage Carnival-themed activations at Emirates Stadium during the football off-season.

Arsenal Academy Hub planned for Saint Lucia

A key component of the partnership is football development.

Officials confirmed plans to establish an Arsenal Academy Hub in Saint Lucia, creating a structured pathway for young players while introducing Arsenal’s coaching philosophy, talent identification systems and performance frameworks.

Lewis revealed that annual coaching programmes will be delivered by Arsenal staff in collaboration with the Saint Lucia Football Association’s Development Team to improve technical standards across the country.

Young footballers from Saint Lucia and the wider Caribbean are also expected to gain opportunities to experience elite training environments, including potential exposure to Arsenal’s renowned Hale End Academy.

Women’s football set for major boost

The agreement will also support the growth of women’s football through the launch of the “Let Her Inspire You Women’s Football Tournament.”

The initiative aims to provide a competitive platform for girls and women while encouraging greater participation and development within the sport.
