Bayern Munich president Herbert Hainer has issued a firm warning to newly re-elected Real Madrid president Florentino Pérez amid growing speculation linking French winger Michael Olise with a blockbuster move to the Santiago Bernabéu this summer.

Reports in Spain have suggested that Olise could be the mystery “Galactico” Pérez promised to sign after securing another term as Real Madrid president. During his election campaign, Pérez pledged to break the club’s transfer record by spending around €150 million on a marquee signing.

However, Bayern have made it clear they have no intention of selling one of their most influential players.

“If Florentino Pérez wants to send us an offer—which hasn’t happened yet—he can save himself the trouble,” Hainer said.

Bayern Draw a Line on Olise

Olise joined Bayern Munich from Crystal Palace in the summer of 2024 and quickly established himself as one of the Bundesliga’s standout performers.

The 24-year-old is under contract with the German champions until June 2029, placing Bayern in a strong negotiating position and leaving the club under no pressure to consider offers.

Hainer’s comments underline Bayern’s determination to keep the French international despite increasing interest from Europe’s elite clubs.

Record-Breaking Season

Olise enjoyed a sensational 2025-26 campaign, playing a pivotal role in Bayern’s return to the Bundesliga summit.

The winger contributed 15 goals and 21 assists in 32 league appearances, earning the Bundesliga Player of the Season award.

His influence extended into Europe, where he scored five goals and provided seven assists in 13 UEFA Champions League matches, performances that secured him a place in the competition’s Team of the Season.

Real Madrid’s Galactico Hunt

Pérez’s promise of a record-breaking summer signing has fuelled speculation across Europe, with several high-profile names linked to the Spanish giants.

While the Real Madrid president has ruled out moves for several Premier League stars and denied interest in Erling Haaland, reports continue to suggest that Olise fits the profile of the attacking player he hopes to bring to Madrid.

For now, Bayern’s position remains unequivocal: their star winger is not for sale.

Focus on the World Cup

Olise is currently training with the French national team ahead of the 2026 FIFA World Cup, where he is expected to make his tournament debut.

France will begin their 2026 World Cup campaign on June 16 against Senegal, with Olise likely to play a key role in Didier Deschamps’ plans as Les Bleus pursue another world title.
