The Federal Executive Council (FEC) failed to hold its weekly meeting at the Presidential Villa.
It held it’s inaugural meeting last week Wednesday after the cabinet members took their oath of office.
No reason was given for the postponement of the meeting, it was however gathered that the meeting had originally been scheduled to hold, but had to be cancelled late Tuesday night.
The meeting, a traditional engagement since the return to democracy in 1999 is held weekly except at a few instances that it was shifted at the instances of the President.
The administration of President Buhari has also not confirmed if it would maintain status quo or change the day of the meeting and how frequent it should hold each month.
