The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) has released the list of successful candidates for its Direct Short Service Commission (DSSC) Course 34/2025, marking the conclusion of its 2026 recruitment selection process.
In a statement issued by Ehimen Ejodame, the director of public relations and information, the Air Force said the successful candidates emerged after a rigorous Selection Board Interview conducted at the NAF Base in Kaduna between January 12 and February 8, 2026.
According to the statement, the full list of successful applicants has been made available on the official NAF recruitment portal, where candidates can access further instructions regarding their enlistment.
The Air Force announced that all successful candidates are to report for a six-month Basic Cadet Training programme scheduled to begin on April 18, 2026, at the Nigerian Defence Academy (NDA), Afaka, Kaduna.
It emphasised that candidates must present their original credentials during documentation and admission processes upon arrival at the academy.
The Service warned that failure to report on or before 6:00 p.m. on April 20, 2026, would result in the automatic forfeiture of the offer.
The NAF further clarified that candidates would not be recognised as personnel of the Air Force until they successfully complete the training programme and are formally commissioned as officers.
