President Muhammadu Buhari will on Thursday, October 1, 2015, make a nationwide broadcast as part of programme of activities to mark Nigeria’s 55th Independence Anniversary.

The traditional broadcast which was also done by past administration will take place at 7am.

A statement by his Spokesman, Femi Adesina requested all electronic media stations to join the network services of the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA) and the Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria (FRCN) for the broadcast.

In his speech, the President who is just over three months in office, may be harping on his anti corruption war as well as the security challenges facing the country.
