The ministerial list may be handed over to the Senate President Bukola Saraki, today or tomorrow, by the Special Adviser to the President on National Assembly Matters, Senator Ita Enang .
A top Presidency source told reporters at the side line of the United Nations, in New York that President Muhammadu Buhari handed the list over to Enang, on Monday where he is attending the General Assembly, for onward transmission to the National Assembly. He already left New York for Abuja.
According to the source the President directed the liaison officer to either handover the list to Saraki on Tuesday at the resumption of the plenary or on Wednesday depending on the mood of the upper legialative chamber.
It would be recalled that President Buhari had assured Nigerian’s of his determination to announce his cabinet before the end of September.
No one was however able to identify the names on the list in Enang’s possession, the source however disclosed that two more names that have been in contention are on the list.
General Abdulrahman Dambazzau and Rotimi Amaechi. Both are presently attending the UN meeting with the President.
