Veekee James is controlling – Deeone

Comedian, Aderombi Adedayo, better known as Deeone, has taken a swipe at fashion designer, Veekee James, saying that she is controlling while also alleging that he had a relationship with Veekee some years ago.

His clap back came after Veekee James in a now viral episode of unfiltered and Xtraspicy with Ify’s Kitchen, said that Deeone is somebody nobody should take seriously.

She had said, “If you’re a smart person, you’d know that you cannot take him seriously. If you take him seriously, then you’re either jobless or there’s a problem there. There are people like that who, when they make videos talking about people or stuff that’s really not their business, you’ll just know that this one is clearly just bored and wants to have fun. I’ve really not seen him say something serious, and to be honest, I hardly see his videos. I’m saying that because he has talked about me before, and for some reason I knew he’s not serious, so he’s out of the equation.”

Responding to the callout via a video on his Instagram page, Deeone said, “Ruth (Veekee), have you not moved on from this our matter”

He said, “This is blast from the past. A lot of people don’t know this. When I came out of BBN 2018, I and Ruth (Veekee) had something. She is a correct babe. She is sweet. She is good and that is the truth of the matter. But personally, I don’t like people controlling me. I shouldn’t be saying some things.”

Deeone said there is no rancor between him and Veekee, while reiterating and alleging that she is controlling.

“It wasn’t as if I didn’t treat her well. But there is no bad blood. So many people in the industry know what I am saying. It is not like I didn’t treat her well. Even her husband, Femi, knows what I am talking about.

She would be sewing and she would be sending me on errands. I don’t like it when people are too controlling. I don’t want people to control me. She would tell you to help her do this or she would tell you to help her attend to this or that. I am a boyfriend and not a houseboy.

Deeone said he wouldn’t have opened up concerning their past relationship if Veekee hadn’t taken a swipe at him first.

“To be honest, I wish them the best. I am a fan to what they are doing. I am not a hater. I have moved on. I don’t know where this talk is coming from. Maybe she is angry. But I don’t know where her anger is coming from. Maybe there is something that I have done that I don’t know. I am sorry. I can promise you that it is all love from my side. I have no bad blood. I don’t have her in mind. I am sorry. There are so many things that people don’t know. I am only saying this because she voiced out first. There is a bad story that people don’t know.”
