We have achieved 78.93% distribution of PVCs – INEC

Following the shift of dates for the conduct of the 2015 general election and sub- sequent extension for the collection of Permanent Voter Cards (PVC) to March 8, The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) said it has so far recorded 78.93percent distribution of the PVCs to registered voters in different states across the country. According to the latest figures released by the Commission Friday, February 27, 2014, INEC said while the total numbers of registered voters are 68,833,476. The number of voters who have collected their PVC stands at 54,327,747. Hence, the percent- age of cards collected stands at 78.93percent.
