Red Media Africa won three prizes at the 2026 Davos Communications Awards 2026, extending a streak of international recognition for African communications agencies seeking a bigger role in the global marketing industry.
The Nigeria-based strategic communications and storytelling agency secured a silver award for its Super Falcons Trophy Tour campaign in the Media Relations category, alongside bronze awards for its #JollofYourWay social media campaign and the Amstel Malta AMVCA 2025 campaign in the Special Event category, according to a statement from the company.
The awards, organised by the World Communication Forum Association, recognise campaigns in public relations, marketing and media based on creativity, impact and execution.
The wins underscore the growing influence of African creative agencies as brands increasingly tap culture-driven campaigns to deepen engagement with younger audiences across the continent.
“These projects were not just about media impressions; they were about connection and results,” Brukeme Dickson, an account director at Red Media Africa, said in the statement. “Each one tapped into culture in an authentic and engaging way.”
The #JollofYourWay campaign drew on the long-running rivalry over West Africa’s jollof rice heritage, while the Super Falcons Trophy Tour spotlighted Nigeria’s women’s football team amid rising global interest in female sports.
The latest recognition adds to a run of industry accolades for the company following wins at the 2025 Nigerian Marketing Awards 2025 and nominations at the 2026 African SABRE Awards 2026.
Founded two decades ago, Red Media Africa operates as the public relations and empowerment marketing division of Nigerian media and communications group RED.
