Acting President Yemi Osinbajo is currently meeting with elected on the governors of All Progressive Congress (APC) platform.
The meeting which is holding at the conference room of the Vice President’s wing convened after the National Economic Council which consists of all 36 state governors.
BusinessDay gathered that the meeting is to discuss recent political developments especially as relates to the APC. Some members of the APC had this week insisted that the party’s convention will not hold until President Muhammadu Buhari who is the head of the party returns from his medical vacation. Buhari has been in London for over 70 days and officials say he is expected any day soon.
The meeting may also be to strategise even as the opposition People’s Democratic Party (PDP) regroups.
