Ohuabunwa clocks 65 with book launch

Sam Ohuabunwa Foundation for Economic Empowerment  (SOFEE) has announced a book launch in commemoration of Sam Ohuabunwa as he clocks 65, Sunday, August 16.

To this end, outreaches will hold from August 17 to 20, in Lagos Abuja, Enugu and Port Harcourt, respectively.

According to a statement signed by Gogo Chidiebere Prince, administrative executive for the Foundation, the outreaches will feature the launch of his two new book – The Port Harcourt Volunteer – Experiences of a Young Combatant in Nigeria-Biafra War, and Sam Paradigm-Thought on Contemporary National Issues, as well as reissue of three earlier titles.

In the forward of Ohuabunwa’s Paradigm-Thought on Contemporary National Issues, Adebayo Williams, a professor, says, “it is the considered opinion of this writer that this excellent collection of articles would find enduring place among works meant to improve   human condition and to warm the heart of the Black race, about the possibilities of restitution once we have got our act together.

“In both practical and intellectual terms, this book is a manual for that historic redemption.”

Mazi Sam Ohuabunwa is the founding chairman/CEO of Naismith International Pharmaceutical plc, and was CEO of Pfizer West Africa, pioneer chairman, West African Pharmaceutical Manufacturers Association (WAPMA), and chairman, Nigeria Economic Summit Group (NESG).
