Nigerian diplomat commends UNIZIK VC’s outstanding quality

Timothy Nwachukwu, a diplomat and president of Youth Advocates for Peace, Justice And Empowerment Network (YAPJEN), has commended the Vice Chancellor of Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka, Joseph Ahaneku, for his sterling performance.
Nwachukwu, who is also a law student in the university, stated this while addressing students of the institution on Sunday.
He enumerated the achievement of the Vice Chancellor to include infrastructural revolution in the areas of road and building construction, among others.
He said some of the road network by the performing Vice Chancellor also included the beautiful gate road, the Arthur Eze Main Avenue of the Campus and Emeka Offor Road.
Nwachukwu stated that the modification and beautification of the university environment is another area which the Vice Chancellor showcased his masterpiece and taste for class.
“Ahaneku has set a high standard for whoever emerges as the new Vice Chancellor,” he said.
According to him, the introduction and deployment of  Biometric Data Capturing Machines by Ahaneku has aided in no small measure to the reduction and eradication of impersonation and examination malpractice.
“Also the Mobile app has eased the tension and difficulty, which students encountered over the years in the course of registration,” he said.
He further appealed to the Vice Chancellor to expedite action on the ongoing construction of the university medical centre.
The Model United Nations Ambassador said that the Vice Chancellor’s giant strides and imprint on the university will remain a benchmark of performance and for the incoming Vice Chancellor as he nears the end of his administration.
