The director-general, Nigerian Tourism Development Corporation NTDC), Olusegun Runsewe, has assured foreign investors and tourists that the Nigeria environment is secure for business activities
This is contained in a statement issued by NTDC in Abuja on Monday.
It said that Runsewe gave the assurance at the 47th edition of the International Travel and Tourism Trade exhibition in Berlin, German.
According to the statement, the Federal Government is on top of the security challenges currently facing the country. There is no country in the world as safe as Nigeria.
“The security issue is only limited to a few states in the northern part of the country and the Federal Government is very serious and proactive in handling the situation.
“Please come to Nigeria, your investment is safe and your life too is safe.
“No one will harm any of your visitors and investors as this government is very serious about welcoming genuine investors and visitors to the country.”
