The commissioner for energy, Olalere Odusote, has said that Lagos State government would start the first pilot of gas-powered vehicles in 2020.
He said this at the first edition of The Enyo Correspondents Breakfast event held in Lagos. The event was organized to find solutions that will solve the challenges in the energy sector.
The commissioner made the statement while sharing on the plans of Lagos state towards improving the energy sector.

“2020,” he said answering a question. “We would start the first pilot of gas-powered vehicles next year.”
Although no specific timeline was given, this holds promise for stakeholders if the promise materialises.
