Lagos records 39 fire incidents in the first week of 2020

Lagos State recorded about 39 fire incidents in the first week of 2020, the government has said in a statement on its Twitter handle.

 

This revelation was made know by the State Commissioner for Special Duties and Intergovernmental Relations, Adewale Ahmed, during a media briefing at Ikeja, Lagos state.

 

He stated that there was a need for all residents to be more careful as the dry harmatan period enhances the spread of fire easily
