The Lagos State Neighbourhood Safety Corps Amendment Bill 2020 has been passed into law by the state House of Assembly.

The bill which scaled through the third reading on the floor of the Assembly on Tuesday empowers the state government to establish the Amotekun security outfit in the state.

Speaker of the House, Mudashiru Obasa, after some corrections were made in the bill called for its passage through a voice vote.
