Lagos fire fighters battle tanker fire along Badagry expressway

Lagos State fire department has mounted efforts to contain flames from a tanker laden with about 11,000 litres of diesel which went up in flames on Thursday morning at Abule Osun Bus Station, along Badagry expressway, Lagos State.

The fire reportedly started after the rear spring of the tanker broke while the tanker was travelling at high speed.

Eyewitnesses say the firefighters are still at the scene, trying to put off the blaze.
