Aimed at building the capacity of newly inaugurated members of Lagos State cabinet, the state government is taking them through a four-day executive retreat.
The state governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu swore in the commissioners and special advisers on Tuesday.
The event which kicked off at the Eko Hotel and Suites, Thursday, was used to communicate the vision of greater Lagos, being pursued by Governor Sanwo-Olu to the cabinet members.
Incorporated into the retreat are permanent secretaries, who are the administrative heads of the various ministries and some parastatals of government.
The retreat is therefore expected to foster unity and encourage team spirit among the administrators that will be taking decisions in the ministries, departments and agencies of government.
Some of the facilitators engaged to interface with participants include Fola Adeola, founder of FATE Foundation and Wale Edun, a former finance commissioner in Lagos.
