The Kogi State Governor, Yahaya Bello, has said he had no hands in the crisis rocking the House of Assembly.

He stated this recently at the Presidential Lodge in Lugards House, Lokoja, when the House of Representatives members (the fact-finding 10-man committee on the lingered crisis in the state House of Assembly) visited him.

He said: “Surely, like everybody knows, I have no hands in it. Am of the executive and they are of the legislative arm, so they have their problem between them now and then. Even before I was sworn in and they decided to continue with their trouble within themselves. Myself and other stakeholders are trying to see what we can do to resolve the crisis.”

He promised to intervene, saying, “I will call them that are having misunderstanding, – I have been reaching out to them and I will continue to do so to ensure they maintain the peace.”
