The Lagos City-wide Crusade organised by the Deeper Christian Life Ministry (DLCM) in conjunction with the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) and the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN), which kicked off last Tuesday inside the expansive training ground of the Police College, Ikeja, has entered the second week.
It has been a harvest of miracles in all the locations visited so far. The focus of the event which holds in 18 locations in the state is soul-winning. It also offers opportunity for deliverance from all forms of satanic oppressions and afflictions.
At Ikeja, Kumuyi spoke on ‘The wonders of supernatural change’; it was ‘Christ’s Supernatural Power’ at Ketu; ‘The Hour of His Manifestation’ at Gbagada, among others.
In every place he goes, the cleric tells the story of God’s power to deliver and His unlimited grace to save sinners.
He said: “Sinners must boldly take a step by confessing their sins. It is futile to think that it is impossible to live a righteous life. God is capable of saving sinners no matter the level of sin, which they have committed.
In one of the venues, he assured participants that, “Every work of Satan in your life must be reversed. Bad luck has come to an end. Sorrow and reproach have come to an end. This is a time for supernatural change. You must leave all your sins behind. God has declared that this day salvation has come into your life. God will not reject you.”
One permanent feature of the crusade is prayer ministration through which instant miracles were recorded. For instance, there were testimonies of some mysterious moving objects in the body disappearing after prayer; disappearing tumours; disappearing insanity; regaining of loss memory; regaining of sight, among numerous others.
“I have often lost my memory and have been taking psychiatric drugs. But as I shouted the last Amen while the GS was praying, the mental disorder left me.”
These were the words of Moses Akpan, who was healed of mental illness in one location.
Akpan, who could not contain his emotions, thanked God for using Kumuyi to visit him.
Precious Ogbonna had had a lump in her breast before going to the crusade.
“When the man of God asked us to raise our hand, I put up my left hand and placed the right one on my breast. While the GS was praying, I received an instant healing,” Ogbonna said.
For Chinaza Odum, something had been moving round her back before the crusade. But as the general superintendent was praying, something jumped out of her body.
This was not the end. Jumoke Adeniran had had cancer of the rectum, which had been on for two years. This was also compounded by high temperature in her stomach. But, according to her, the ailments left her at the shout of the last ‘amen’.
Little Favour Adeniran was also converted while W.F Kumuyi was speaking on ‘The Glorious Supernatural Conversion to the Sinner’. There were also other healing testimonies relating to chest pain, tooth ache and broken ankle, instant deliverance from paralysis, skin rashes, among others.
According to a release from the church, the crusade continues today at Isolo area of Lagos. It will hold in Ajegunle, Alimoso, Epe, Mushin, Lagos Island, Yaba, Agege, Somolu, Oshodi, Badagry, Orile and Surulere on Sept 15, 16,17,18,19,20,22,23,24,25,26 and 27 respectively.
