Ghanaian institute honours Agbeyo, inducts him as fellow

When Babatope Agbeyo, Chief Executive Officer of Cornfield Group was called out as one of the five Nigerians deemed worthy by the Chartered Institute of Public Resources Management and Politics, Ghana as an awardee for this year’s Special Gold award, for his exemplary leadership, astuteness and sincere dedication towards the development of Africa, he wore a smile that reminded everyone in the room of his personality.

The institute team to Nigeria, led by its Vice President, Babatunde Akinsanya in his speech described Agbeyo as a leader that every young person driven to succeed must emulate.

His words, ‘Agbeyo is one of the greatest Nigerian business leaders that have traversed the economic landscape of not less than three continents of the world. We can authoritatively assert that this illustrious individual is an uncommon professional of excellence, a pacesetter and an embodiment of resourceful development initiative in Nigeria and Africa at large.”

According to him the institute has followed his activities and further research established an impressive and enviable track records of promoting national and international economic productivity.

“He has been a phenomenal and exemplary statesmanship with concrete effort to enhance Africa economic growth, we are very proud to celebrate with one of your renown establishments, Botosoft Technologies Ltd, the recent historic approval and acceptability of her I.C.T. services in Republic of Kenya, this is another ground-breaking attestation of your professional competence,” Akinsanya added.

It is on this ground Akinsanya announced that the Governing Council and Advisory Board of this Chartered Institute have unanimously agreed to induct him into the institute Fellowship Hall of Fame. with a prestigious senior fellowship recognition award.

While calling on Agbeyo not to relent on his achievements Akinsanya said the institute is counting on him to continue is effort on national development for the progress, peace and unity of one Nigeria and Africa.

Agbeyo while receiving the award, in his speech called on the federal government to develop policies that will help harness Nigeria young human capital for economic growth.

“With the right policies and programmes young people can restore Africa back to its rightful position in the global arena.”

 

The media guru further pledged not to disappoint the institute and millions in Africa that draw inspiration from him.

“Our incorruptibility as an organization is a very difficult decision that we are very glad to make considering the environment where we operate. Maintaining a clean record is very difficult but easy once it becomes part of you.”
