Former Governor of Benue State, George Akume is currently leading notable All Progressive Congress APC members in Benue to meet with President Muhammmadu Buhari.
The delegation which includes the APC Governorship candidate in the state, Emmanuel Jime, also has other notable members of the party.
Recall that Governor Samuel Ortom had to defect from the APC following the impasse created by the farmers/herdsmen crises.
