 Emir orders suspension of all Jummah services in Ilorin

The Chairman Kwara State Traditional Council and The Emir of Ilorin, Ibrahim Zulu Gambari has directed that all Jummah Services be suspended in Ilorin metropolis, in Kwara state capital in the wake of ravaging Coronavirus pandemic.

Ibrahim Zulu Gambari, the leaders of Muslims in the entire Ilorin, the Kwara state capital, made this disclosure during a meeting with Council of Ulamah (Islamic  Clergymen) on Monday held at his Palace.

The Emir advised all Muslim Ummah in the state to be observing their Prayers in their respective houses in line with the Federal and State Government directives.

He said, “Everyone should stay at home pending the time the country will overcome this deadly disease Coronavirus.

“In view of this the Council has suspended all Jumaat congregations till further notice”
