Unilever Nigeria Plc has unveiled a nationwide consumer promotion for its flagship toothpaste brand, Closeup, with N500 million worth of prizes up for grabs for customers across Nigeria.

The campaign, tagged “Everybody Go Chop Promo,” is designed to reward consumers who purchase Closeup Red Hot 130g toothpaste, with the company promising instant rewards for every qualifying purchase.

According to the company, participants are required to purchase the toothpaste, locate an eight-digit code inside the carton, and dial 80115# to redeem prizes through a guided process.

The promo offers a range of rewards, including cash prizes, airtime, utility bill payments, and dinners for two, as consumer goods firms intensify marketing campaigns aimed at driving customer loyalty amid stiff competition in Nigeria’s fast-moving consumer goods market.

Speaking on the initiative, Twumasi Elvis, marketing manager at Closeup, said the campaign aligns with the brand’s long-standing message of confidence and connection.

“At Closeup, we have always believed that confidence brings people closer, and this campaign is an exciting way to reward Nigerians for choosing a brand that champions connection,” Elvis said.

“With ‘Everybody Go Chop Promo,’ we are not just giving out prizes; we are rewarding Nigerians for those everyday moments of confidence while creating more reasons to show up boldly and get closer,” he added.

The company said the campaign would run nationwide and encouraged consumers to follow Closeup Nigeria’s social media platforms for updates and additional opportunities linked to the promotion.
