Indications emerged on Monday that President Muhammadu Buhari may have replaced Ita Enang as his Senior Special Assistant SSA on National Assembly Matters( Senate ).
BusinessDay gathered that Ita Enang may have been replaced by Babajide Omoworare.
Babajide Omoworare, ran for the Osun State gubernatorial election in 2018 under the All Progressive Congress APC but withdrew at the last minute.
He was the APC Senator representing Osun East Senatorial District, in the National Assembly.
Unconfirmed reports suggests that President Buhari has moved Enang to the Ministry of Niger Delta Affairs as SSA
When contacted, the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Publicity,Garba Shehu said only the “office of the Secretary to the government of the Federation SGF is in the best position to confirm the report”
Presidency sources said Enang who has held the position since 2015, may have been moved to the more “ juicy “ office as the SSA in charge of Niger Delta Affairs , after he failed to clinch the Ministerial slot.
