The American University of Nigeria has resumed admissions for qualified candidates seeking graduate degrees and diploma in the School of Business & Entrepreneurship (SBE).
A statement from the university listed the programmes as Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Business Administration; Master of Business Administration (MBA); Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Business Administration, and the Postgraduate Diploma in Management (PGDM).
It also said that lectures for all the postgraduate programmes would commence in August 2015.
Linus Osuagwu, dean, School of Business & Entrepreneurship, said the current enrollees in the School’s graduate programmes comprise young scholars and corporate executives with exceptional levels of scholarship and experience in many sectors of the Nigerian and international economies.
For the PhD programme, which takes between 36 and 60 months, applicants should be holders of an M.Sc. in business-related disciplines or an MBA. According to the release, “the M.Sc. programme takes between 18 and 36 months and applicants should have at least second class honors degrees in business-related disciplines. For the MBA programme (duration between 18 and 24 months), applicants should have at least second class honors degrees in business-related disciplines or PGDM certificates, or both.”
Applicants seeking admission into the PGDM programme, lasting 12 to 18 months, should have first degrees or Higher National Diploma in any discipline.
