The N-Power Volunteer Scheme is one of the Federal Government’s Social Investment Programmes, where unemployed graduates not more than 35-year-old, were engaged in various fields of work for two years with monthly stipend of N30, 000 each.
The programme, which started in 2016, was initiated to address the root cause of unemployment.
“It is an emergency intervention for beneficiaries to use their skills during the stipulated 24 months to improve their status, become entrepreneurs, if they so wish and gain experience in the process.

“I know it’s not an easy task to attend to 3,155 unemployed young graduates individually. I can see the crowd here, please do all you can to deploy them before the deadline, so they can upload their stamped posting and resumption letters to qualify for August payment,” Iwuchukwu said.
