Ahead of 2019 general elections, female legislators under the aegis Of Conference of Nigeria Female Parliamentarians ( CONFEPA) Friday, demanded the position of Vice President

The law makers made the demand when they paid a courtesy call on President Muhammadu Buhari at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.

Head of the delegation and President of CONFEPA, Elizabeth Ativie while speaking on behalf of the delegation, comprising of elected lawmakers from the nation’s 36 states, said Nigerian Women are being marginalized by their male counterparts in allocating political offices and appealed to President Buhari to use his position to reverse the trend
