i-Fitness, one of the leading and fast-growing fitness chains in West Africa, is deepening its fitness and recreation chain across Nigeria as it reopened its newly remodelled Lekki Branch, which was its first branch originally opened in 2015.

The event which took place last Saturday at the Lekki Branch had members, partners, and fitness enthusiasts in attendance.

Established in 2015 by Foluso Ogunwale, a business executive, i-Fitness was founded with a vision to help people live healthier and happier lives. Since its inception, i-Fitness has launched 20 state-of-the-art gyms across Nigeria in Lagos, Abuja and Port Harcourt, with its twenty-first branch set to launch later this month in the city of Ibadan.

There are plans to open more branches in other locations across the country and eventually spread to West Africa in the long term.

Foluso Ogunwale, CEO of i-Fitness, expressed his gratitude at the event. “We are truly grateful to our members, partners and stakeholders who have been with us over the past eight years. i-Fitness would not be here without you,” he said. “We still have a long way to go, and hope that you will still be with us as we continue to provide you with the best fitness services.”

Within eight years of existence, the i-Fitness brand has become a household name among millions of fitness enthusiasts in Nigeria, having a tremendous impact on the health and wellness industry.

With over 200 professionally certified fitness trainers, i-Fitness offers well over 40 various free fitness classes to every member, including occasional wellness checks and other benefits from experienced partners.

Membership also entitles access to the gym in any location, thus giving a sense of belonging within a close-knit fitness community that supports the achievement of fitness goals.

The anniversary event featured exciting activities which included fitness classes, demonstrations by various partners and anniversary games. Guests had the opportunity to network and win several prizes.

There was also a raffle draw where winners went home with a free gym subscription and branded items, including a grand prize of a one-year free subscription.

As an innovative organization dedicated to capacity building and personal development, i-Fitness also partners with the National Academy of Sports and Medicine (NASM) America to provide professional training and fitness certifications to fitness trainers in Nigeria.
