Community allegedly burns election materials, seizes INEC staff

Olodi Community in Ogbia Local Government Area of Bayelsa State has burnt election materials and seized staff of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).

Reports monitored on radio quoted an INEC staff as saying that it took a lot of pleading before the staff were released.

He did not give any reasons why the community undertook the action.
