Lagos Motor Fair & Autoparts Expo Nigeria hots up

As arrangements for the hosting of the 8th edition of the flagship auto- fair in West Africa ‘The Lagos Motor Fair’ & Autoparts Expo Nigeria, continue, visitors, exhibitors and the general public that would be at the Federal Palace Hotel, Victoria Island, venue of the event have been assured of bumper days of business and fun.

Ifeanyichukwu Agwu, chairman of the Organising Committee for the show, had at a press briefing said “the fair will be a landmark and a benchmark in auto show business in the entire West African sub-region,” promising that “all including children are billed to have a rewarding experience.”

Agwu who is also the managing director of BKG Exhibitions Limited, main organisers of the show said almost all the major vehicle manufacturers and dealers in Nigeria are participating at the fair. Not left out are the banks, insurance and oil companies; manufacturers and dealers in auto-accessories that have also indicated interest to participate in the event.

Each of the nine days that the fair will last he promised will be loaded with activities and events that will make this year’s edition remarkably different and that BKG intends to improve and add on this in subsequent editions.

On parade shall be ranges of automobile products from the Asian Continent dominated by Japanese, Chinese and South Korean auto- firms.

While the show lasted, there will also be products from Honda, Mazda, Mitsubishi, Kia, Nissan, on display. The European and American makes from the stables of Ford, Mack, Mercedes, Chevrolet, Volvo, BMW, Skoda will also show presence. From the home front will be PAN Nigeria, National Trucks Manufacturers Limited [NTM).

Lovers of luxury brands will also see choice and exotic SUV’s, CUV’s, Jeeps, light and heavy duty haulage trucks, and buses of various capacities for corporate and mass transit businesses.Visitors to the various stands will enjoy lots of goodies as some have packaged gift items, lucky dips and many other forms of
