Technology experts unravel growing cyber threats in corporate society

Technology experts across sub-Saharan Africa who are dedicated to unraveling the growing threats to technology usage within corporate organisations and across government institutions operating within the region will all be brought together at this year’s Hackcess Technology security conference, scheduled to take place in Lagos, Nigeria on the 11th and 12th of November 2015.

The first Hackcess technology conference held last year, created the buzz that has given birth to the second stage of this annual conference tagged, ‘Commercialization of Cybercrime’.
Tobechi Ndubuaku, Chief Operating Officer, Tobeit Nigeria, the initiators and organizers of the conference said; ‘We are on a mission with Hackcess Technology security conference to continue the discussions, engagements and awareness of the security risks involved in the 21st century style of business if current trends are not evaluated in its true nature to curb future occurrence.’

Ndubuaku further explained that Tobeit, a young and growing technology organization will through the Hackcess conference, challenge technology experts and the existing status quo to come up with innovative ways of addressing IT security.

This year’s conference and exhibition will bring together a team of technology experts who have done some great works for public and private institutions across Africa and who are thought leaders in various aspects of IT security to share their thoughts and knowledge on this aspect of technology.
The conference organizers also plan to feature young technology minds, yearning for knowledge and developing unique technology concepts in the area of IT. Indeed, a great opportunity to IT organizations in Nigeria and indeed the African region to showcase their solutions and how they are helping businesses become more technology aware to the growing threats of the Hack.

Hackcess has revealed that it will engage stakeholders who have studied the different aspects of the ‘Hack’ and have come up with patterns and ideas on how to curb its occurrence in financial institutions where it seems to be on the rise and other institutions undergoing all forms of technology menace affecting the smooth run of their organizations.
This year’s conference seeks to address the global realities and challenges Africa and the world currently faces due to the prevalence of individuals who currently perpetrate the crime on a huge scale.
