Seamfix is expanding its software development services beyond the African continent with the opening of an office in Berkshire, England. The company currently has a presence in Nigeria and Uganda.
The company says it is a necessary step towards spreading its global reach and living up to its mission to empower companies globally by enabling innovative technologies.
“We are thrilled to be expanding our footprints as we have been laying the foundation for years and it is an important milestone for us as it opens room for broader transformation and more opportunities,” Chimezie Emezulu, chief executive officer (CEO) of Seamfix, said.

In February 2021, Seamfix announced that it has acquired ISO 27001:2013 information management and security(ISMS) and ISO 27701:2019 Privacy Information Management System (PIMS) certification. The certification ensures that Seamfix products and services meet the needs of customers, and clients through an effective information security management system.
Seamfix is the first in Nigeria, and the first software development company in Africa to get the certification. ISO certification is a globally recognised quality management standard developed and published by the International Organisation for Standardisation (ISO).
Chibuzor Onwurah, the executive director, Seamfix, said that expanding globally is a reminder of a promise to support and invest in the communities it serves both homes abroad.
