Phase3 Telecom, the West African largest independent fibre optic infrastructure provider, has received recognition from the Nigeria Customer Service Awards (NCSA) for its unwavering commitment to proffering the best solutions that enhance the availability of broadband connectivity to Nigerians.

This comes in the wake of Phase3 receiving the esteemed award for “Pan African Broadband for Enterprise Solution Provider of the Year” at the recently concluded Technology Africa’s “Titans of Tech” 2015. It may also be recalled the firm was acknowledged in 2014 by NCSA for “Best Customer Service Company in Network Management”.

Aliyu Ilias, coordinator of NCSA and his team reaffirmed at a briefing with Newsmen in the Nation’s Capital, that the organization being set up to recognize, commend and celebrate companies that deliver excellent and efficient customer service in Nigeria; will continue to shine the beacon on such indigenous business entities like Phase3; who are committed to offering consumers top service thus validating the credibility of the Nigerian brand.

The scope of the NCSA is to “create consciousness among corporate business owners to go beyond paying lip service to customer service strategies and intents” but to establish deep and lasting connection with customers. It is also a drive to “reward the companies that meet the award assessment criteria” of the organization.

It is important to note that the awards’ credibility is dependent on winners in each category being nominated by consumers and individual sector stakeholders while winning votes are determined by the collation of over 19.5 million votes through highly credible voting options that include; online poll, agency referral, customer survey, mystery shoppers™ and short code.

Stanley Jegede, Phase3’s chief executive officer said “This recognition could not have come at a better time as Phase3 will be marking its 12th Anniversary in less than two months thus humbled by the auspicious development of being applauded for the years of resilience, hardwork and dedication”.

He also added that “it is an incredible honour to be recognized and celebrated with a Nigeria Customer Service Award not once but twice for Phase3 family’s modest efforts towards running an exceptional infrastructure to improve and develop broadband services along necessary lines to connect metropolises and remote areas in Nigeria as well as the West African sub-region to the rest of the world.
